About the role

Mowsix is a measurement-first growth marketing agency. We work with SaaS, fintech, and ecommerce brands across the UK and Africa. What makes us different: we set up the measurement layer before we touch anything else. You can't make good growth decisions without clean data, and most agencies skip that step entirely.

What you'll do
  • β†’ Setting up and maintaining GA4 properties from scratch, including custom events, conversions, and ecommerce tracking
  • β†’ Building and managing GTM containers, both client-side and server-side.
  • β†’ Configuring server-side GTM through Stape, Google Cloud, or similar
  • β†’ Designing attribution models and stitching CRM data (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) into GA4 and the ad platforms, so we can report on real revenue rather than last-click guesses
  • β†’ Building Looker Studio dashboards that clients actually use. Clean, opinionated, no vanity metrics
  • β†’ Running A/B tests end-to-end: hypothesis, build, QA, analysis, write-up
  • β†’ Funnel diagnostics. Finding where users drop off and why
  • β†’ Supporting our GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) work: implementing schema, content structure, and citation tracking so client brands get picked up by Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, and the rest
  • β†’ Writing the client-facing summaries that go with the data. If you can't explain a finding in three sentences to a CMO, the analysis isn't done
What we're looking for
  • βœ“ GA4 to a strong level. You've configured properties, debugged data layer issues, and you know what event_params is without Googling
  • βœ“ GTM client-side at a confident level. Server-side GTM experience is a big plus, but we'll train you if the rest is strong
  • βœ“ SQL. Comfortable enough to query BigQuery exports without copy-pasting from ChatGPT
  • βœ“ Looker Studio or equivalent (Power BI, Metabase). Whoever you've used, we care that the dashboards you build don't look like everyone else's
  • βœ“ An experimentation tool. VWO, Convert, Optimizely, GrowthBook
  • βœ“ Solid grasp of attribution: how UTMs work, what server-side conversion APIs do, why iOS 14 broke half of paid social reporting
  • βœ“ SEO competence. Technical SEO (crawl, indexation, schema, Core Web Vitals), on-page fundamentals, and working knowledge of Ahrefs or SEMrush plus Search Console. You don't need to be a content strategist, but you should be able to spot why a page isn't ranking and fix it
  • βœ“ Paid ads working knowledge. You've run or audited campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads at minimum. You understand conversion tracking setup on both, audience building, and what a bad ROAS report looks like when the tracking is wrong. LinkedIn or TikTok Ads is a plus
