Operations Full-time πŸ“ Nigeria

Executive Assistant

This role sits closer to the centre of operations than most people expect. The right candidate won't just manage a calendar; they'll anticipate what's needed before anyone asks, run point on projects nobody else has time to own, and keep things moving when everything hits at once.

About the role

You'll work directly with our lead strategist, supporting the full scope of their day: scheduling, correspondence, board prep, and the hundred small things that never make it onto a job description but determine whether a leader can actually do their job. The work is varied, sometimes fast, occasionally ambiguous. You'll need good instincts more than a perfect process.

What you'll do
  • β†’ Supporting new business activity: coordinating pitch timelines, booking credentials meetings, managing contact lists, and keeping the CRM up to date. When a pitch deadline moves, you're often the first person who needs to know.
  • β†’ Managing a complex diary across multiple time zones, with the judgment to know which conflicts matter and which don't.
  • β†’ Drafting correspondence and communications that go out under the executive's name, so the writing has to be right. Preparing briefing documents, board materials, and meeting notes that people will actually read and use.
  • β†’ You'll own relationships with key contacts, suppliers, and internal teams on behalf of the executive.
  • β†’ You'll also take on ad hoc projects: research, supplier reviews, event logistics, whatever surfaces.
What we're looking for
  • βœ“ Experience in an agency environment, or somewhere similarly fast and client-driven.
  • βœ“ At least 2 years supporting at C-suite or director level, ideally in a fast-moving environment. You know how to handle confidential information without being told twice and you don't need someone to check your work before it goes out.
  • βœ“ Strong with project tracking tools; whether that's Asana, Monday, Notion, or a well-maintained spreadsheet, you stay on top of what's open and what's overdue. Comfortable with CRM systems too.
  • βœ“ Solid writing and use of AI skills.
  • βœ“ Proactiveness matters more than anything else on this list. Waiting to be told what to do is the fastest way to be unsuccessful in this role.
